Douglas Gayeton is co-creator of the Lexicon of Sustainability, an open-source, project-based learning and teaching project that melds the power of words and images to create a set of shared meanings of topic-specific terms. Gayeton believes that the power of clear, precise wording is central to enabling individuals to create change through viable, informed solutions. His program has grown substantially through the enthusiasm of students and teachers who have been empowered in their own communities through involvement with the project.
