Christie Hardwick is also a licensed minister of Religious Science International, recently renamed “Centers for Spiritual Living.” Religious Science is a metaphysical, spiritual teaching that studies the common spiritual truths that can be found in all major religions. This teaching honors the wisdom of master teachers and great philosophical thinkers like Ralph Waldo Emerson and studies the natural laws of science to improve individual lives and make the world a better place. Religious Science does not tell people what to think, but rather it teaches people how to think. ‘Change your thinking, change your life’ is the basic principle of our teaching. Dr. Ernest Holmes, the founder of Religious Science and author of the textbook ‘Science of Mind’ greatly influenced such notables as Norman Vincent Peale, Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith and Louise Hay.
After a comprehensive career and extensive volunteer leadership, including being an elected school board member, political organizer, and chair of several non-profits including GLSEN, and Greatschools.net, Christie also made her debut as a singer/songwriter in 2004.
