Christian Boer is a graphic designer and graduate of the Utrecht Art Academy. He developed the Dyslexie typeface there as a final thesis project. As a dyslexic himself, he set out to create a font that would make reading a less arduous task. The Dyslexie font is now used in print, toys, and in over 1,000 books. A new project, Start-Bee, is teaching children with dyslexia to read and write.
