Innovation in Action Award
Big Ideas Fest Innovation in Action Award
The annual Big Ideas Fest Innovation in Action Award recognizes an individual or organization whose project embodies the spirit of ISKME's Big Ideas Fest: transforming education through innovative action.
The award has a special emphasis on innovations that allow teachers and learners to collaborate, particularly in ways that encourage sharing of ideas toward the creation of new learning tools and resources. Judges consider the potential global impact of the program as well as its accessibility to populations that are underserved. The recipient of the Innovation in Action Award is also granted funding to help scale their ideas.
